Myeloid progenitor cells expose typical antigen expression characteristics as defined by HLA-DR, CD11b, CD33, CD34, CD45, and CD117. In abnormal progenitor cells, these patterns might significantly deviate while expression of CD14 or CD15 correspond to their monocytic or granulocytic lineage, respectively.
