The CD116 antigen, a 75-85 kDa molecule, is the human Granulocyte-Monocyte Colony-Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) receptor α chain. The CD116 antigen is not expressed by lymphocytes, but strongly by monocytes and granulocytes as well as their precursors.
